The international ballet camp returns to Turku
Following the success of its first event last summer, Turku Dance Camp will again bring together over a hundred passionate dancers from around the world.
In summer 2025, the camp will feature top teachers from Italy, Poland, Sweden, and Finland. TDC 2025 provides young, aspiring professionals and motivated dance enthusiasts with a unique opportunity to advance their skills in ballet, contemporary dance, and body conditioning.

Course Selection
Turku Dance Camp will take place from Sunday 27 July to Friday 1 August 2025 in Turku, Finland. The six-day intensive will finish with a performance at Sigyn Hall and a dinner gala at Turku Castle.
The course selection offers classes for children, young dancers, professional students and adults.
Standard
Our Standard Group, equivalent to last year’s camp package, is meant for all motivated dancers aged 13 (b. 2012) and up, including adults. You’ll get the chance to train with internationally acclaimed teachers and perform at the TDC Gala!
Included: Daily classes of ballet, repertoire, contemporary and body conditioning, performance, Gala Reception and Gala Dinner

Intensive
This year, we offer the chance to apply for TDC Intensive Group! This group is meant for pre-professionals and all motivated dancers of all ages who wish to take their training and progression to the next level. Our teaching staff will review applications to ensure that everyone can train at the same high level. In addition, the Intensive Group will perform at the TDC Gala together with professional dancers.

Lite
Too busy with your summer plans to commit to the whole camp package? We get it – that’s why this year we’ll introduce a lighter option for all young and adult dancers who wish to participate in high-quality classes without the hassle.
With this bundle, you’ll get six ballet classes, one per day, with our talented teachers. We’ll provide you a timetable of classes to choose from, so you’ll have some flexibility in your schedules! For an extra fee, you’ll also get the chance to attend the Gala Reception and Gala Dinner.
Included: Daily 90 minute ballet class of your choice
Price 200,00 € (+ 50,00 € if you’d wish to attend the Gala Reception and Gala Dinner)
Children’s course
For future talents aged 10–12 (b. 2015–2013) we’ll offer a course of ballet and repertoire under the guidance of distinguished international ballet instructor Heidi Zolty. Children will also get to perform and attend the Gala Reception event at Turku Castle.
Included: Daily 60 minute ballet class and daily 45 minute repertoire class, performance and Gala Reception

Teachers
In summer 2025, the camp will feature top teachers from Italy, Poland, Sweden, and Finland.
Train and perform with the best – you’ll be building your dancing expertise under the guidance of Monica Cagnani, Katariina Edling, Marko Juusela and Gisella Zilembo. Heidi Zolty will teach children’s ballet and repertoire. Stay tuned for more!

Locations
The city of Turku is located by the Baltic sea in Southwest Finland. The oldest city in Finland, Turku is known for its historical sites, blooming culture, art and cuisine.
Turku Dance Camp offers an accommodation package for 310,00 € per person for students at Bridgettine Guest House, in 2–3 person rooms, located in the city centre with easy access to both the dance studios and local sights. The accommodation package also includes daily breakfast and a local bus ticket during the stay.
All classes will be held at Turku Arts Academy’s dance studios. To make the most of your time with us and fully experience the city, Turku Dance Camp will also organise accompanying activities and excursions in collaboration with local dancers.
