

The third edition of Turku Dance Camp
The international ballet intensive Turku Dance Camp returns in summer 2026! The six-day intensive will take place from 26 to 31 July. Registration is now open!
This year, the camp will feature top teachers from Italy, Sweden, Romania and Finland. TDC provides young, aspiring professionals and motivated dancers with a unique opportunity to advance their skills in ballet, contemporary dance, and body conditioning. You can now also top up your regular camp package with our choreography workshop course, read more below!

Course Selection
Turku Dance Camp will take place from Sunday 26 to Friday 31 July 2026 in Turku, Finland. The six-day intensive will finish with a performance at Sigyn Hall and a dinner gala at Turku Castle.
The course selection offers classes for children, young dancers and adults, including aspirational and professional dancers.
Standard
The Standard Group is meant for all motivated dancers aged 13 (b. 2013) and up, including adults. You’ll get the chance to train with internationally acclaimed teachers and perform at the TDC Gala!
Included: Daily classes of ballet, repertoire, contemporary and body conditioning, performance, Gala Reception and Gala Dinner

Intensive
Intensive Group is meant for all motivated dancers aged 15 and up, including professionals and pre-professionals, who wish to take their training and progression to the next level!
This group will have the most advanced repertoire, including the opportunity for personal coaching. The applicants also have the opportunity to be cast in demi-soloist parts in TDC Gala’s Don Quijote.
Included: Daily classes of ballet, repertoire, contemporary and body conditioning, performance, Gala Reception and Gala Dinner

Lite
Too busy with your summer plans to commit to the whole camp package? We get it – that’s why we offer a lighter option for all adults and young dancers (born latest 2013) who wish to participate in high-quality classes without the hassle.
This year, you can attend both ballet and contemporary classes. The Lite package includes one class of each per day for the duration of five days, 26 to 30 July. You can also choose to attend only ballet or only contemporary classes – yay for flexibility!
For an extra fee, you’ll also get the chance to attend the Gala Reception and Gala Dinner.

Children’s course
For future talents aged 10–12 (b. 2016–2014) we offer a course of ballet and repertoire under the guidance of a distinguished international ballet teacher. Children will also get to perform and attend the Gala Reception event at Turku Castle.
Included: Daily 60 minute ballet class and daily 45 minute repertoire class, performance and Gala Reception

Choreography workshop
Top up your Standard, Intensive or Lite camp package with our brand new choreography workshop! In these classes, taught by Nico Benedetti, you’ll get to work on creating your own choreography, and pick up new tools and inspiration for your dancing. Please note that there is a limited amount of spots for the choreography workshop!
Included: 75-minute choreography class every day from 26–30 July for Standard, Intensive and Lite groups

Teachers
In summer 2026, the camp will feature top teachers from Italy, Sweden, Romania and Finland.
Train and perform with the best – you’ll be building your dancing expertise under the guidance of Katariina Edling, Patrizia Tosi, Dragos Mihalcea, Jenny Westring, Olga Mironenko, Lyylia Koivuniemi, Sami Saikkonen, Gisella Zilembo and Nico Benedetti.

Locations
The city of Turku is located by the Baltic sea in Southwest Finland. The oldest city in Finland, Turku is known for its historical sites, blooming culture, art and cuisine.
Turku Dance Camp offers an accommodation package for students at Bridgettine Guest House, in 2–3 person rooms, in the centre of Turku. Daily breakfast is included in the accommodation. You can book your stay at the Guest House through the course registration form for 310,00€. Please note that there is a limited capacity and the accommodation must be booked before 30 May!
All classes will be held at Turku Arts Academy’s beautiful dance studios. To make the most of your time with us and fully experience the city, Turku Dance Camp will also organise accompanying activities and excursions together with local dancers.
